Western Union through its local agent PHILCOM and WORLD LINK COURIERS signed a memorandum of agreement, giving WLC the authority to make payments to recipients of Money Transfers, which have been initiated from any such other location where Western Union Money Transfer Service is available.

How does this work?

Once a customer comes to our office, our staff, after initially ascertaining the identity of such person, shall access the Western Union Host Database through the Western Union Money Link System. If remittance is available, WLC shall pay the beneficiary in Philippine Pesos at an exchange rate determined by Western Union.
